The Project:
Christine commissioned us to write the official theme song for a Turbulent Sea music video, and it’s been a very satisfying project for both myself and G9. In the video, Christine’s daughter is the “face” of Joley, and I’m Joley’s voice. Christine is doing something really special by crossing from literature into music and also into video for her readers, and I hope I’ve represented Joley’s voice in a way that will connect this beloved character even deeper to Christine’s readers. I may not be an overnight sensation, but I can tell you this: it’s not easy being a rock and roll goddess! -NiNi
