ABOUT THE TRACKS

“Like Hell”

A Lo-Fi Dr. Phibes-Style pipe organ opens a Gothic explosion of epic proportions. Stacks of buzzsaw guitar, EBM synths, knife-stabs of strings and brass, female choirs chanting in Latin, and cacophonous sound effects.

“Hell Suite”

Part I: String bass section enters with a rumble, climaxing in the sound of thunder, leading us into Part II: A light harp dances through a full string section, driven by low-tempo electronic percussion, building to an urgent climax.

“Connect!”

Spectral whispers at the edge of awareness close in around you as a modem pulse signals a connection to a nightmare world… suddenly with explosive force, a full orchestra lurches forward in sync with pulsing synth bass lines and chugging guitars.

“Sacrament”

Distant piano strains open a haunting, pulsing sex ritual driven by bass guitar and layers of tribal percussion, interwoven with synth strings and gritty, lo-fi guitar, culminating in a slow dance of electric ecstasy.

“Anthemion”

A distant electronic tone from the ether sets the stage for a dusky, piano-driven mid-tempo mood piece that adds layer upon layer of ethnic percussion and harsh metallic drums, ending in anguished screams of distorted guitar.

“Hole in the Wall”

Dirty, aggressive synth blasts tear a jagged rift, releasing insectoid sequencer patterns. rough drums, chunky guitar and doom like bells propel you further into the darkness, where slithering lead guitar riffs zero in for the kill.

“El Calavera”

A chilling spectral street procession begins with old school synth pads and electronic percussion, clearing a path for organic tribal rhythms and a large, ghostly female choir.

“The House Next Door”

Swirling wind patterns envelop you as a guitar scrape signals the first glimpse of the ominous abode. Spooky organ chords mark the opening of the gates, followed by a thunderous footfall of drums, overdriven guitar and trembling strings.

“My Tale is Hot!”

A techno burlesque show with rough, throbbing bass and a sleazy guitar loop triggering a quick and naughty bump-n-grind, punctuated with demented orchestra stabs and wry comments from a battered Hammond organ.

“Beast Factory”

Metallic clangs and clatters, hissing steam and the distant wails of unnatural creatures fill the air, while a slow martial rhythm announces the presence of a powerful force driving the hellish machinery.

“Moonlight”

The mad chattering of electronic entities [some of whom play the guitar] escalates into an epic march of doom after the title incantation is recited by an ominous voice from beyond.
